About the Artist

I was gifted a watercolor set during Covid, and loved the quiet it brought to my mind in a time of distanced chaos in the world (and myself). I could pull it out, do a quick painting or two, and put it away all during my toddler’s nap.

I quickly realized I had no need for little paintings all over my house and started making cards or little portraits I could give to friends.

It must have caught on, because in 2023 my art business became official!

I have loved making art—mostly because the process of creating something beautiful brings me peace and joy. It is still mind-boggling that my art is in the homes of many people (and a few businesses)! I hope they will feel peace and joy when they look at those pieces.

I am head over heels for the classes I teach! I studied education in college, and LOVE the small group setting that this career allows for. Meeting you all and experiencing YOUR creativity brings me joy.

Aside from watercolor, I also love expressive and impressionistic oil painting and am also having fun playing with ceramics! I have a backyard garden and I love watching it fill with life from year to year. Outside in this beautiful God-given home is my favorite place to be. And I love sharing all of these things with my family. Who knows what will be next?
